The new notice board - shame its in the wrong place!

St Peter’s Church has a nice new notice board – but it ain’t where it should be! Hastings Borough Council kindly offered the new board to the church a few weeks ago. Delighted Father Alex Brown asked that it be erected at the east end of the church, by the telephone box in Chapel Park Road. Arrangements were put in hand. “Do I have to be there?” asked Fr Alex. “Oh no” was the confident reply. “I was amazed to discover the board erected by the lych gate – not where it should be. I shall be getting on to the Council to get it moved. They also forgot to give me a key – at the moment I can’t use it.”
