Bohemias Alldays, sorry, Co-op, gets a top to bottom refit

Alldays in Bohemia Road was closed for nine days at the beginning of October to be refitted in Co-op style.The Co-op has owned Alldays since 2002, when it bought up over six hundred Alldays convenience stores nationwide. It is the Co-op’s policy to upgrade their stores once every five years, and the Co-op in Silverhill was refitted in September. To get the former Alldays done in so short a time, Concorde Interiors, one of four companies who do all the Co-op’s refits, employed thirty workmen. Peter Holland, of the Bohemia Area Association said ‘It’s the biggest single investment in Bohemia’s shops for ten years.’
