Alan offers much more than scooters!

“People don’t realise what a wide range we do and how large our premises are,” said Alan Phillips of Breckland Mobility Serv-ices in Tower Road. “They see the scooters outside the shop, but we do much more than scooters; we do virtually everything in the mobility range, from walking stick ferrules right through to chair lifts and hoists.” Alan has been in the mobility industry for twenty-five years.   He has been established at his Tower Road premises for three years, and before that he had a group of mobility companies in Kent called UK Mobility Ltd.   He sold that group to his son, and moved to Spain.   “But I came back because I got bored!” he says. Though UK Mobility is now run by his son, Alan still uses the group for buying power, ‘which is why my prices are so reasonable’. He can get any type of equipment for the disabled, from vehicles to a wide variety of daily living aids, and if not in stock can obtain it within forty-eight hours. He also sells reconditioned items, with the same warranty as new stock. His customers can be anyone from the elderly buying items to make their lives easier, to charitable organisations for the less able. Alan has full workshop facilities and can service and maintain all equipment, at very reasonable charges.   Unlike most other mobility companies, he doesn’t charge for call-outs.
