Bohemia Village Voice

Variety is the spice of life for Bob Parsons.   He does maintenance, extensions, chimney repairs, roofing, refurbishing, bathrooms, kitchens … the list is almost endless.   He told the Voice that refurbishments are one of his favourite jobs – “particularly during the winter months!” Bob has been in business for twelve years.  
Originally from south-east London, he moved down to Hastings in 1989.   At the time, he was an HGV lorry driver, but during a spell of unemployment he saw an advert for a bricklaying course at Hastings College.   He obtained his City and Guilds Level 3, became self-employed, and has never looked back! It’s very much a family business. 
Bob’s son and brother-in-law work with him, and his brother used to as well.   Most of his customers are regulars, and he gets a lot of new trade by personal recommendation.
Now Bob has a special reason to celebrate – he got married at the end of August!
