1929 Hastings postcard

This seaside postcard, [submitted by a St Peter’s Road resident], was sent to a Mr & Mrs C. Beauchamp, 13 Meeting Street, Ramsgate in 1929.  It is postmarked ‘Hastings Sussex 6.45PM 12 AUG 1929’, and reads: Dear C & G, we are having a good time. Arrived here 14.30 on Saturday. Very nice lodgings & lovely weather. We are going to Eastbourne on Wednes-day. It is very hilly here & the view from the top of the cliffs is lovely. Hope you are having a good time, Lot.
