Street bobby Andy Hubbard is holding a meeting in the car park at Lidl between 6 and 7pm on Friday 10th August. Andy will conduct the meeting jointly with PC John Hearn in a coned-off section of the car park nearest to Church Road. Andy says, ‘There’s no agenda for the meeting. We’ll talk about whatever people want to get off their chest. Hopefully, we’ll get good weather and a good turnout.’
Karen Manning has also confirmed that someone from the YMCA would be popping over to distribute leaflets about the centre and, according to Andy, Lidl Deputy Manager Tim Foster has also agreed to provide refreshments for those attending.
