A new phenomenon is to be seen locally – shop and office staff guiltily enjoying a cigarette outside their places of work. In this issue we take a look at the experience of Bohemia’s pubs and cafés with regard to the new smoking laws. But what a great opportunity to kick the habit once and for all.

Village bobbies
Our local village bobby Andy Hubbard and his colleagues have become very well-known figures on our streets. They are where bobbies should be – out meeting people and finding out at first hand what the problems of the area are – not stuck in an office doing paperwork.

Village Fayre
Who can now say that Bohemia isn’t a village? Not only do we have a village bobby, but this month we welcome our very own village fayre. It should be a great day out for all the family. See you there, perhaps?

It was tempting fate, of course, to brag about our new website ‘looking good’. In fact we’ve had to change to a new site builder and start again from scratch. Fingers crossed that there will soon be something to see.
