Birds-eye-view of the village
This is a view of Bohemia that most of us will never see for real. Local aerial photographer David Bowie has taken a series of close-up shots of different areas in and around Bohemia. This shot of central Bohemia shows what a crowded community we live in and how desperate are our parking problems. Over the coming months, we intend to feature other views of our ‘village’: Horntye Park, Woodland Vale Road, Cloudesley Road, De Cham Road, Amherst Gardens, Chapel Park Road, Gensing Gardens, the Bohemia Road Police Station and Law Courts, the Fire Station, Alexandra Park, St Matthew’s Church, the ‘Needlepoint’ (where Bohemia Road joins London Road), St Peter’s Road, Cornfield Terrace and Anglesea Terrace. It is hoped that, by early next year, colour prints will be available for purchase.
