News this week that the Dept of Trade & Industry is suggesting that two and a half to three thousand post offices may have to close in the next few years, doesn’t bode well for Bohemia getting its post office service back. Mr Masood Iqbal, who had hoped to open a counter in his new ‘Bohemia Foodmarket’ says “It’s out of the question now.” Illness has delayed his plans for a December opening of the new off-licence and supermarket. “I’ve been ill with a chest infection, and haven’t been visiting the site very much. You can’t do much before Christmas, so I’m hoping to have the store open in January,” he said.
