Bohemia Village Voice

Well-known local resident and sage Vic Chalcraft has written his memoirs – of Bohemia that is. Bohemia Remembered, to be published later this year by Bohemia Village Voice,  is a collection of Vics memories of the area augmented with about 20 photographs from his private collection. Vic was born in Bohemia – in Salisbury Road in 1926. At one time he lived in Tower Road and in the 50s moved to Aldborough Road where he’s been ever since. He spent most of his working life at the Parsons Observer building working as a flatplate letterpress machine minder. Serialisation of Bohemia Remembered starts in our next issue.
