Long haired lads- in fact lasses- at Horntye Park.

Some lads with very long hair were spotted playing in beautiful sunshine at Horntye Park at the weekend. These ‘lads’ were in fact members of the Priory Girls Under 13 team – cries such as “Come on Kirsten” were heard from a small but enthusiastic crowd. Later, the Priory Girls Under 16s had their chance to shine. Your intrepid reporter had in fact turned up expecting to find a boot fair, but found fair maidens instead. Oh well.
