A Bohemia landmark sight disappeared this week. The large advertising hoarding which has graced the west facing wall of 35 Tower Road for many years was removed by workmen currently decorating the outside of the building.

Alan Phillips of Breckland Mobility Services which rents the shop on the ground floor, said “The building is owned by Magdalen Lasher Trust and there has been no adverting on the board since we came here about two years ago”. One can’t imagine anyone turning down a source of income, so it is assumed that the advertising companies have lost interest in the site. [JH]
