St Paul’s School – ‘Working Together’
ST PAUL’S SCHOOL – WORKING TOGETHER
In September 2013 – on a Friday – St Paul’s School in Horntye Road, Bohemia, held a ‘Working Together’ Day which enabled parents to come in to the school and work alongside the children gardening, painting, etc. around the school.
BIG BREAKFAST
As it was a Macmillan fundraising day, it was decided to try to raise some money for this very worthwhile cause. A ‘Big Breakfast’, was arranged – parents and children came into school for bacon rolls, cereal and fruit juice before school, which was extremely popular. The children were able to buy cakes during the day and then an ‘Afternoon Tea’ was held where we served tea and cake.
The staff and children made some lovely craft items which were on sale, alongside a variety of home made pieces donated by parents at the school. In total, St Paul’s managed to raise £1000 on the day.
