From back cover: Many of us have the need to find answers to life’s mysteries, others feel content with what is. Louise has never been one of those contented souls. The endless stream of questions arising about her purpose in life and her personal dilemma about being born as a German in a post-war, post-holocaust Germany, prompted her to go on a soul-searching journey. She could never have imagined what lay ahead, nor did she think that she could possibly find a solution to her problems, but through a series of extraordinary events, everything changes. This is a true account of her experiences as a German on a search for meaning. It is about her healing journey, her meeting with an Indian Holy Man and another, most unusual and unexpected encounter.

LOUISE ILLIG-MOONCIE Born 1949, Germany.  Now lives in St Leonards, Sussex, with husband Alan Mooncie. Has a son, Boris. Worked for some years as a television editor. Louise is a firm believer in reincarnation: “My personal belief is that we have been born and re-born time and time again into different races and cultures, sometimes as a male, other times as a female”. In 1991 Louise travelled to India where she met controversial Indian holy man Sathya Sai Baba.  “I believe in the oneness and connectedness of all things and all beings and in the idea that, ultimately, we are one World-family, one breath, one heartbeat.” [Picture below]
