Dear Sir, the Bohemia Area Association has, as one of its aims, to make Bohemia a cleaner and tidier place. With this in mind, and with the support of the Gensing Forum, they had a clean-up day.

This meant members giving up a Saturday and collecting and getting rid of the rubbish dumped in alleyways. One alleyway in particular was a great deal of hard labour. This was the one going off from the passage between Lower South Road to Tower Road towards London Road.

The locals were so delighted with their efforts that within a couple of days that alleyway was as bad, if not worse, than before the clean up. If some of the residents of Bohemia can’t help your hard-working area association to keep the place tidy, you may not have an association at all, and you will then have the tip you deserve.
