Frank Letchford and the Bohemia Bookshop
Dave Hatherell writes (Jul 2008)
Dear Sir,
I would like to ask an historical question. Is anything known about The Bohemia Bookshop, proprietor Frank Letchworth, that traded in the 1950-70 period? At that time, I was a lad working in a specialist bookshop in London and Frank was a competitor. I would have thought Frank was quite elderly by the 1970s. I moved down here (Bexhill) four years ago, and had forgotten the above until I browsed your magazine.

Initial enquiries have shown that Frank was a very interesting man indeed. He specialised in aviation books and knew lots of well-known artists. Dealers came from London to buy pictures. A future article is planned – ed.
