Bohemia Junction – where was it?

Mrs Jo Thatcher writes (Jan 2008)

Dear Sir,

I remember a small ‘half-shop’, called ‘Bohemia Junction’ which specialised in model trains, but I cannot recall exactly where it was – I think it was near the Cake Box, but I can’t be sure. Does anyone know where it was and what happened to it?

Dear Sir,

I used to run ‘Bohemia Junction’ [letter in your January issue] in Bohemia Road. I can confirm that It was right next door to the Cake Box, but it did get pulled down to become ‘Mary’s Food Market’ (now the Co-op). I’ve been retired some time now.

Mr Ashton.

  1. Intrigued if you named your store after the book by Tchieffly or was it purely because you were on Bohemia Road?

    All the very best

  2. Dear Mr. Ashton,

I used to buy LOTS of Hornby Dublo trains from you in 1975.
