Bohemia Road Parking Proposals Dec 2012

On 14 Dec 2012, the Bohemia Village Voice wrote to Michael Blaney as follows:

Michael – thank you for your notification of 11 December regarding parking in Bohemia. The map that was enclosed shows various areas marked in yellow with the caption ‘proposed no stopping on the footway’. Could you please tell me what this means? Is the ‘footway’ a way where folk go on foot, i.e. what ordinary mortals call the pavement and Americans call the sidewalk? If this is what is meant, I hadn’t realised that stopping on the ‘footway’ was ever allowed or encouraged. Perhaps ‘footway’ means something else?

So far, (Wed 19 Dec 2012), NO ANSWER.
