A new art class is running year-round at the Ore Centre. Classes are led by artist David Drey. “They are for anyone who may be interested in an inspiring and accessible entry into the world of drawing – working indoors and outdoors with sketchbooks. We take the drawings back to the studio and work them up into larger A1 drawings. The original drawings become transformed into something quite unexpected in the process.” David believes that drawing offers a very special opportunity to explore the “inner lining” of experience, to enhance visual sensitivity to appearances and simply to enjoy expressing yourself in the company of others. “This can be life enhancing.”
