Officially the most gorgeous shop in the whole of Hastings, the old Arthur Green shop on the seafront has all the original fixtures and fittings from when it was a stylish men’s outfitters. It’s an interior that has Paul Smith literally frothing at the mouth and is now stocked with locally produced artful knick-knacks, clothing and gifts in support of the Pier Trust.

The fire (pictured), we are told, may well turn out to be a blessing in disguise as the plight of the pier was made a national story and monies and support is pouring in. Contribute to the flood yourself by spending a few pennies in the Hastings Pier Shop, you’ll also be supporting local artists and makers, win, win!
