Christmas in St. Leonards Have you strolled around St. Leonards recently? If so, you must have noticed that we seem to be experiencing a bit of a small-business boom, the diversity, quality and attractiveness of many of the shops in St. Leonards now easily gives the Old Town of Hastings a run for its money. To celebrate this, Central St. Leonards business owners are presenting a dynamic and united front with an all-out effort for Christmas this year and they have many exciting plans to impress residents, and the increasing number of visitors from out of town. St. Leonards small businesses really can satisfy all your Christmas shopping needs. There’s a great deal of positivity around St. Leonards at the moment and this will be reflected in a fantastic show of performance, lighting, decorations,  competitions and community involvement. On Saturday December 4th the St. Leonards Business Association are planning a spectacular evening of Light and Sound and the streets from Warrior Square station to the seafront will be alive with singers, musicians, street performers and entertainers. There will be further festivities on Saturday December the 18th when participating businesses will be opening later than usual and offering customers festive treats and experiences to get everyone in the mood for Christmas. This Christmas Shopping Day runs till 7pm.
