Hello from your new friendly local editor, Sarah Janes.

I hope you enjoy our June/July issue; it has been a pleasure putting it together and getting to know the many faces that are involved with this wonderful news magazine. We have much to look forward to in the coming months, especially The Bohemia Village Fayre which is set for July 31st.

We have some wonderfully creative, clever and interesting people living in Bohemia, as you will see in our new feature ‘The Bohemians’ – J.J. Waller’s photographic gallery of portraits.

The subject of Bernard McGinley’s article ‘A Scandal in Bohemia’ is over – (and ugly) – development, as the war to save the convent on Magdalen Road from a massive housing scheme rages on.

As always, we love to receive your news and views, so keep sending us your stories, letters and ideas and we’ll keep printing them.

We’ve tried to make it even easier to keep up-to-date by starting a Facebook page – search for ‘Bohemia Village Voice’ – and improving our new website www.bohemiavillage.com – many thanks to Alan Jeffries for this!

The ever-increasing popularity of our magazine means we are now printing 15,000 (count ’em) copies each issue!
