Moth Hunt at Summerfield’s
A barbeque and moth evening is to be held at Summerfield’s Wood on Saturday 8th September. There will also be an opportunity for volunteer help. The event will take place at the Bohemia Walled Garden in Summerfield’s Wood. The event is not open to the public – only to ‘Friends’ and family. Schedule for the day is: volunteer task session from 3.30 to 5.30pm, then the barbeque from 5.30 to 6.45pm at which food is free (for those who have volunteered, others have to pay) followed by the moth evening from 7pm to 9pm (or 10pm). Moth hunters are asked to bring a torch and suitable warm clothing. If the weather is wet, the hunt may be cancelled – call to check.
