Dear Sir,

I would like to share my thoughts with your readers on the recent death of my dearly loved cat, Bear [below].

“In loving memory of Bear, 1993 – Nov 25 2009. Dear Bear, you were born 16½ years ago and lived with people who for thirteen of those years never let you in the house. You were taken from them and brought to St Leonards where, after a while, you found me. So many times I turned you from my door until eventually I gave in. You and I spent 3½ happy years together and in that time we developed a deep understanding of each other. You gave me such love and trust and I will never forget how much richer you made my life. I love and miss you darling boy”.
