Bohemia Book Fayre

St Peters Book Fayre

Bohemia Book Fayre 2009 (Stewart Buchan, centre)

The ninth Bohemia Book Fayre (writes Paul Rummery) will be held on Saturday 20th March – 10am to 2pm at St Peters Church Hall (located top of Cornfield Terrace next to church).  We will yet again have thousands of second hand books for sale, tea and coffee on offer, diverse background music and a friendly atmosphere for people to while away a few hours.  Most of the money raised will be going to St Michael’s Hospice and some will also go to the new resident of the Hall – Pulse*. We would be very grateful for any donations of good quality books and I will collect from wherever.  Also – a bit of a tall order this one – we would be grateful if anyone has any fold-up sturdy trestle tables strong enough to take the weight of lots of books..  We need at least 8 off – roughly 2m x 1m. To borrow would be good or donated ones would be even better. To buy – not out of the question.
