New salon set to eclipse the competition?

New hair salon ‘Eclipse’, at 73 Bohemia Road, is due to open for business on Monday 1st September. Manager Rachael Martin, and Lisa Castleman, are holding a “Meet and Greet Day” on Saturday August 30th, with refreshments and the opportunity to meet the stylists, family and friends. The inside of the salon, formerly Waves, has been totally refurbished.

Everything has now been completed, apart from the new windows. It was intended to replace the existing timber front door and bay window with pvc units, but Adrian Martin, Rachael’s father, said “Planning permission has been refused, on grounds of the thickness of the pvc, so the shop-front is being repainted for the present, and we must re-submit for planning permission.”
