You’re never too young to start changing the world. The 15th St Leonards Rainbows, based at St Peter’s Church, are recycling their Christmas cards. Girlguiding UK is celebrating its centenary next year by various projects for ‘Changing the World’. The St Peter’s Rainbows have chosen the Woodland Trust as one of their projects, starting with the recycling of cards to raise money to plant new trees. A new Brownie unit was opened at St Peter’s last October. The group, which meets on Tuesdays 5.30 to 7pm needs adult volunteers.
