Last year our Village Fayre was rained off, but on Saturday 18th July, we, and organisers Kat and Jools were luckier. There was live music all day; acts advertised included The Moors, Jasmine, Gail Storm, Down on the Farm, Rattlebag, Jonathan Martin, Herbman Dan, Trenchfoot UK, Red Diesel and Love Bush. A wide range of arts and crafts stalls completed the ‘village fayre’ atmosphere. One stall was selling a "Bohemia Dahling Cocktail" for £2.50 (vodka shot, vanilla ice-cream scoop + cream soda) ‘mmm … delicious dahling!’ Kids weren’t forgotten, with go-carts, a climbing tower and slippery slide.
