Bohemia Village Voice

No. 1 LADIES DRAWING GROUP – is holding its annual exhibition at Empress Art in Tower Road from August 29 to Sept 19 (Mon to Sat 9am to 5pm). The  title of the show is Monomania; the theme is ‘mono’ and ‘explores the almost limitless vocabulary it provides: monochrome, monolith, monomorphous, monopoly …’ There are monoprints, drawings and paintings by the six members of the group:  Joanna Biggs, Jean Brown, Louise Elcoate, Arnelda John, Jacky Sanders and Christine Swarbrigg.   Admission is free and most pieces are for sale.
