St Peter’s Parents & Toddlers– parents and children were told by St Peter’s Church  that they could no longer use St Peter’s church hall for their weekly meetings. The group, which has been running for thirty years, heard in September that they had to go, due to the change of use of the hall. Group organiser, Rosemary Noble, said, ”I’ve tried to find alternative accommodation but places are either in use on a Friday, have no suitable storage space, or the rent is too high. Parents and children met to distribute the toys amongst themselves, the rest going to St Michael’s Hospice.” The group is currently meeting at Clambers. Rosemary: 445117.
