The Moons of Jupiter
Mrs Jo Hunter writes (Nov 2009)
Over the last few weeks the planet Jupiter has been the brightest object in the sky, after the moon. I have a 30x bird-watching telescope and when I looked at this planet with it, I was delighted to see four of its moons – despite a lot of light pollution in St Peter’s Road. It was a thrilling moment. I even managed to get a picture [below] by simply holding my digital camera up to the eyepiece.
Mrs Jo Hunter, St Peter’s Road, Bohemia.
