A leaflet [picture*] apparently from Kidney Research UK was recently put through my door. It said that unwanted goods, such as clothing of any type, etc were ‘urgently needed’. I cleared out a lot of dresses, suits and other clothes I can, unfortunately, no longer fit into! I packed up the clothes using my own bags and left them outside on the specified day. They were not collected then or later. I phoned Kidney Research and learned that the ‘appeal’ was a scam! They are not dropping leaflets here. They are distributed by unscrupulous people who sell at boot fairs and the like.
