It contained three tiny blue eggs. The nest was only 18 inches from my door and mummy wren often sat looking directly at us. Some days later I saw this tiny fluffy chick [photo] by the back door. A little later it was joined by a second, then a third, a fourth, a fifth, and finally a sixth chick.
