Dear Bear, you were born 16\u00bd years ago and lived with people who for thirteen of those years never let you in the house. You were taken from them and brought to St Leonards where, after a while, you found me. So many times I turned you from my door until eventually I gave in. You and I spent 3\u00bd happy years together and in that time we developed a deep understanding of each other. You gave me such love and trust and I will never forget how much richer you made my life.
