By September 2006, A4-size printed copies of the news-sheet were distributed by hand to homes and businesses in Bohemia, Sussex.&nbsp;Printed copies&nbsp;of the magazine became available for the first time in Sep 2006.&nbsp;The first editor was&nbsp;<a title=\"John Humphries\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=20833\">John Humphries<\/a>.&nbsp;The original website was created by Suchart Thittichai.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">2007<\/span> <\/strong>The format was changed to A5 in April 2007, edition 46.&nbsp;John Humphries was superseded as editor by&nbsp;<a title=\"Julian Beecroft\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=20951\">Julian Beecroft<\/a>, who is still the magazine&#8217;s consultant editor.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2008 <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a title=\"Susan King\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=13841\">Susan King<\/a> took over editorship from Julian Beecroft and remained editor until 2010.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2009<\/strong><\/span>&nbsp;In 2009, it was replaced by this site, designed by&nbsp;<a title=\"Alan Jeffries home page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=11864\">Alan Jeffries<\/a>&nbsp;and powered by WordPress.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">2010 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a title=\"Sarah Janes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=19211\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">S<\/span>arah Janes<\/span><\/a><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">over from Sue in 2010 and changed the style of the magazine by incorporating more arts-related stories.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2011<\/strong> <\/span>The last printed edition was number 81, published Dec 2011. Sarah Janes left&nbsp;&nbsp;in 2011 and editorship reverted to&nbsp;<a title=\"John Humphries\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=20833\">John Humphries<\/a>, ably assisted by&nbsp;<a title=\"Jonathan Broughton\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=20907\">Jonathan Broughton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2012&nbsp;<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Early in 2012, the website became infected by a virus and the site was temporarily closed down. A clean version of the site was resurrected and all lost articles were painstakingly re-loaded.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>2013&nbsp;<\/b><\/span>At the time of writing (April 2013), the site is back up and running. The <\/span><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Bohemia Village Voice<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> is enormously grateful to <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\" title=\"Alan Jeffries home page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bohemiavillage.com\/?p=11864\">Alan Jeffries<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;for all his help in creating and maintaining the site whilst managing to fit in the demands of his own family and business.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2006 The magazine started life in May 2006 as an email sent to a mere half-a-dozen subscribers.
