Village Fayre organisers Purplefurball have released details of this major local event. As last year, the fair, sorry, fayre, will run from 1pm to 9pm. Stalls are available for rent (£20 for a large stall, £10 for a small one and £5 for an information table). Bands booked to appear include Red Diesel, Bohemia Ukelele Band (tbc), State of Miasma and Gail Storm. The bar will be run by Battle Cider and veggie and vegan food will be supplied by The Rooms. This year sees the re-appearance of the Bohemia Electric Cinema – the smallest cinema in Britain which existed in Bohemia Road for a short time and which had around a capacity of 27. The Fayre cinema will be showing local films. There’ll also be a Kids Tent – rag weaving, mobile making, Play Doh, and more (tbc). It is hoped to have the Bouncy Castle from Summerfields again!
